Corporation, where she grew divisional revenues from $1.2B to
$1.8B/year. Ellen founded Tutelary, LLC in 1999.
Richard Lary
holds 31 patents in computer and storage system design. He was a member
of the core team that designed the VAX computer architecture at Digital
Equipment Corportion in the 1970's, and a key architect and implementer
of Digital's storage subsystem products in the 1980's. In 1994 he
became the CTO of Digital's Storage Products Division, and continued as
the CTO of Compaq Computer Corporation's Storage Products division from
1998 until 2000 when he joined TuteLary, LLC.
We
have held Advisory Board positions in several venture-funded startup
companies in the industry; 5 of these startups have successfully exited
(via an IPO or an acquisition that returned >200% of investor
capital), 3 have unsuccessfully exited (via acquisitions returning
<100% of investor capital), and 6 have died - that puts our success
rate north of 35%, pretty good for this industry, and we expect several
of our ongoing advisees to exit successfully as well...
